Katie Specht is a blessed mother of four amazing kids who uses her experiences as a parent to write children's stories. As a young girl, reading and writing were always favorite hobbies of hers and they continued to be through her young adult years. After having four children in five years (including a set of twins), her available time for reading and writing was greatly diminished, but the love for them was not. Being a writer has always been a dream of hers, so with the unrelenting support of her awesome husband, she successfully turned the dream into a reality. When she is not chasing after her rambunctious kids or working on future stories, she enjoys baking (all four of her children inherited her sweet tooth), traveling with her family, and, of course, reading.
